Our 2006 Festival - our third - was in many ways another great success. Many of the Region's gardens, nurseries and other organisations participated, many visitors came, and we have had lots of congratulatory messages and expressions of commendation from all sides.

There were also some criticisms - especially difficulties with the lie of the land - which we are planning to address when we have our next, planned, Festival in May 2008.

In the meantime, the remainder of this year and the whole of year 2007 will be spent in active fundraising, in research, and in reviewing our whole approach with a view to making our future Festivals more visitor/exhibitor friendly, less weather dependent, and even more attractive and interesting.
